Former transgender announces plan to surgically transition to “agender alien”

By Jonathon Van Maren

I almost hesitate to attract any attention to this story, but I do so for one reason: This is where the transgender ideology, which has been almost universally accepted by the elites, is taking our society. We have unharnessed identity from biological reality, and as a result there are simply no brakes on this train. There are those who still believe that transgenderism merely involves men or women who believe they have been born into the wrong body, perhaps because they suffer from gender dysphoria. That, however, is only the tip of the iceberg. There are now dozens of new genders and many people claiming to be “non-binary”—neither gender—as well. Perception is now reality, and thus reality is whatever people claim it is.

That’s why we now have people claiming impossibilities that would have earned shock or scorn a few short years ago. The phenomenon of “otherkin,” for example, has people claiming that they are actually animals like cats (or, in one case, a dragon. It is crazy what cosmetic surgery can do these days.) Mainstream media outlets cover these stories with the exaggerated solemnity once given to events of genuine importance. And then there are even those pretending that they are born both in the wrong body and are of the wrong age—one Toronto father of seven even managed to find adoptive parents so he could live as a little girl (I’m honestly not kidding.) And now, from the UK Mirror, comes the story of our latest insanity:

Jareth Nebula might live on earth but he firmly believes he belongs on another planet. The 33-year-old, who was born a woman but transitioned to become a man when he was 29, now believes he doesn’t fit into any human gender and is, in fact, an alien.

The barber’s shop receptionist has even had his nipples removed and shaves his eyebrows to “make him feel less human”…Living alone he now just wants people to accept who he is and admits be would rather be called ‘thing’ or ‘it’ rather than he or she.

Jareth, who legally changed his name four years ago, said: “After coming out as transgender and believing I had finally found myself, I realised I was wrong – I wasn’t male or female, or even human. I don’t think or feel like humans. I can’t really explain it to others – I’m simply otherworldly. I didn’t feel comfortable as either gender or even anything in between. I know I’m stuck in a human form and that’s how I’m perceived by others – but to me, I’m an alien with no gender.”

I think it is important to pause here briefly and point out the obvious: “Aliens with no gender” are not a thing. In fact, aliens may not even be a thing, and aliens that look like Jareth are most certainly non-existent. But notice that despite the fact that Jareth obviously struggles with genuine mental health issues, the media treats this story as if there are actually “agender aliens” in existence. Additionally, despite the fact that Jareth was born female, they of course refer to her as a “he.” And because they have accepted that identity shift, they are obligated to accept the next one. After all, biological reality is now subject to personal perception, and thus Jareth can be whoever she wants to be. More:

Although he says he was once a “hyper-feminine female” and modelled in his teens, at 29, Jareth decided he was a trans male. He began taking testosterone injections, started to dress in a masculine way and had surgery to remove his breasts. But neither gender seemed to fit his personality, so he decided to do further research into alternative gender identification.

He said: “I thought being a trans man would solve all of my issues and inner battles with finding out who I was, but I wasn’t as happy as I expected to be. I felt like I was trying to fit into someone else’s box. I didn’t want to be constrained – that’s when I discovered what agender was. I’d always been obsessed with aliens, too, and what it means to be extraterrestrial, so the idea of being an agender alien fit perfectly as an identity for me.”

Being agender, which is when a person does not identify themselves as having a particular gender, means Jareth does not want to look either male or female, but is happy to be called ‘he’ or ‘him’. His new look, which does not conform to gender stereotypes, includes plenty of body modifications to appear as unique as possible.

He explained: “I don’t have nipples, as I had them removed during my top trans surgery. I shave off my eyebrows and have lip, septum and nose bridge piercings.” Jareth’s alternative fashion also sets him apart from the crowd, as he enjoys neon, gothic, pastel and Japanese pop culture clothing. Despite finally being happy with his new identity, Jareth claims that not everyone has been understanding and accepting of his lifestyle change.

His family, who he doesn’t wish to name, have not supported his decision to become an alien – although they understood and backed his transitioning from female to male.

He said: “My family still see me as a trans man, because they don’t understand what agender or alien really means. I have online friends who support me but offline is harder. Not everyone understands – but that’s okay. I don’t expect them to get it, I only want acceptance.”

As well as the difficulties he faces with friends and family, Jareth has also been trolled online by people who disagree with his alien identity. He said: “People treat me like a freak because I’m an alien, but it’s a completely valid thing to call yourself. Who is anyone to tell you who you can or can’t be? If someone wants to identify as anything, even an animal, let them…I’m happy with who I am and will continue to become more alien-like every day.”

And so, it seems, will our culture.

  1. Bauer Timothy says:

This alien denies its own identity by saying “… People treat me like a freak because I’m an alien …” Obviously something an alien cannot feel or sense. That emotion is purely HUMAN! Helloooooo!

As Catholic I am concerned that a eoman who pretends to be man, so-called transgender will apply to a semi nary and actually be accepted although in actuality such an attempted ordination would be invalid by definition.
