Hello Jonathan. I just happened to watch your show Trudeau Bans Prayer. You are so very knowledgeable on the former nation known as Canada. I am one of those Canadians known as a citizen of the former nation of Canada. I was a young man , born in the early 1950’s. Like so many young Canadians who voted for Pierre. I, in 1972 and 74. Last time I supported any Liberal or party or candidate of the left. I am one of those who learned early on what not only Pierre but beginning with Lester Pearson. The last national symbol of the nation of Canada was the flag, Canadian Red Ensign. Version 1957-1965. The maple leaf flown today was in fact the Liberal Flag. Such a tragedy. You referred to WW1 veterans from your youth. I to had the memories. On neighbour, the father fought in WW1. His son in WW2. Another neighbour fought in WW1. Only sadness remains today.
