Watch at your own discretion, but if you want an idea of the demonic nature of abortion and how it has become the sacrament of the sexual revolution—watch this video from Libs of Tiktok. Gives me the creeps.

This is absolutely the worst sort of gaslighting. There has been an iron-clad consensus for decades that divorce badly hurts children, despite the fact that many parents delude themselves into thinking their children somehow care about their romantic fulfillment (they don’t.) But this, from Slate, is attempting to rewrite all that and make the breakdown of the family about…well, you can probably guess. As Dan McLaughlin wrote in National Review:
So we get things such as today’s Slate column by Gail Cornwall and Scott Coltrane entitled, “How Americans Became Convinced Divorce Is Bad for Kids.” As with many apologetics from this corner these days, blame is instead directed at the socially accepted targets: “Most of the problems associated with being a child of divorce are instead related to sexism, racism, homophobia, shoddy recordkeeping, and insufficient government support.” We are darkly warned that ” there were incentives for some people to cast children as victims” to hold back “increasing female employment and independence.”
So yeah. Apparently kids don’t suffer when their parents split and they end up shuttled between two homes and have all their stability blown up—instead, the problems associated with divorce are due to “sexism, racism, homophobia, shoddy recordkeeping, and insufficient government support.” What garbage. Read Dan’s whole takedown.

A teacher who set up an LGBT club is second-guessing the entire concept. Read this piece—it is worth hearing his reflections.

At First Things, Peter J. Leithart has a reflection on how our culture has completely forgotten what sex is and what it is for. An excerpt:
Last December, our whole family gathered outside Atlanta for our youngest son’s wedding. As I wrestled and chased our grandchildren around the Airbnb, watched our sons play chess in a haze of cigar smoke, ate and drank, talked with children, grandchildren, and in-laws, I was overwhelmed by the sheer abundance that surrounded us. Forty years ago, it was only my wife and me. Now there are an additional thirty-one human beings who would not exist but for us. The proliferation goes beyond mere numbers. It’s a proliferation of projects, plans, aspirations, achievements, gifts, and talents; of dinners, parties, songs; of teaching and learning, jokes and laughter, conversations and debates, worship and prayers, losses and tears. My wife and I have given the world an attorney, a couple of teachers, more than one writer, a game designer, a musician and a couple of filmmakers, an executive assistant who runs a nonprofit, a social worker, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, boys and girls with plans and aspirations that will come to fruition long after my wife and I are gone. Lord willing, Leitharts will keep proliferating for a thousand generations.
Read the whole thing. It’s beautiful. It reminds me of the many family barbeques I’ve been to that fit that precise description.

While experts, ethicists, and even journalists are speaking out across the West about the dangers of the runaway transgender train and the transitioning of children, the Biden Administration is taking precisely the opposite approach—and issued guidelines saying that children can begin sex-change change treatments earlier. The destruction of these children is on their hands.

Meanwhile, the Florida state health agency pushed back against Biden’s radicalism with a comprehensive report challenging key aspects of gender ideology. It is worth the read, if you’re interested.

A biological man claiming to be a woman impregnated two female inmates in a New Jersey women’s prison and is now being transferred to a different prison to serve his 30-year manslaughter sentence. The mainstream media, of course, is reporting it thusly: “Incarcerated transgender woman Demi Minor impregnates two inmates at NJ prison.”
