Faced with reluctance to implement abortion services from the pro-life Democratic Unionist Party, London is making moves to force feticide on Northern Ireland. From The Christian Institute:
MPs have backed legislation empowering the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to directly commission abortion services across the Province. Yesterday, the House of Commons voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Abortion (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2021, which authorise Secretary of State Brandon Lewis to impose nationwide abortion provision without Stormont’s consent. The regulations passed through the House of Lords this afternoon, despite vocal opposition.
A radical abortion regime was forced on Northern Ireland by Westminster in March last year. Abortions are now being provided by individual NHS trusts, but have not been commissioned nationwide.

Ecuador’s Constitutional Court cracked for the first time on abortion on April 28, decriminalizing abortion in the case of rape. Ecuador is 80% Catholic, and abortion has thus far only been legal if the woman’s life or health is at risk or if the pregnancy results from the sexual assault of a mentally disabled person. In 2019, the National Assembly had voted against decriminalizing abortion in the cases of sexual assault or fetal deformity. The vote was 7-2, and came under enormous international pressure. Ecuador’s incoming president is anti-abortion, but says he will respect the ruling.

The state of Arizona has decided to protect babies with Down syndrome:
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey on Tuesday signed a sweeping anti-abortion bill that bans the procedure if the woman is seeking it solely because a fetus has a genetic abnormality such as Down syndrome. Doctors who perform an abortion solely because the child has a survivable genetic issue can face felony charges. The proposal also contains a raft of other provisions sought by abortion opponents.
This is another significant step against eugenic abortions.
Remember Bruce Jenner, who became Caitlyn Jenner, who decided to run for governor of California? Yeah, so the world’s most famous transgender person came out and announced that he opposes biological males—or “trans girls,” as the media likes to call them—playing in female sports leagues. Which, since this is currently a controversial issue at the state level, has triggered the trans movement into calling Jenner, the transgender celebrity, transphobic. What a stupid time we live in.
