A roundup of news and commentary from around the interwebs.
Trudeau’s Liberals are pushing legislation that will dictate what you see online. This, as Terence Corcoran points out, is a solution without a problem. Do you want Trudeau and his progressive lackeys deciding what is and is not true?
This, right here, is how politicians should be talking about the transgender issue:
Why isn't every red state Governor talking about the sexual transition of minor like this?

Any real conservative who prefers Trump to DeSantis needs their head examined.
This isn’t just bluster, either—it’s having real results. The Florida Board of Medicine, for example, just voted to ban sex change surgeries and cross-sex hormones after a group of young de-transitioners gave their testimonies. An extraordinary step that would not have seemed possible a couple of years ago.
The Left continues to eat its own. From The Post Millennial:
British MP Rosie Duffield is once again facing calls for her expulsion from the Labour Party after stating that she refuses to call male comedian Eddie Izzard a woman. Izzard, who when in ‘girl mode’ likes people to use she/her pronouns, is currently standing to be the next Labour MP for Sheffield.
Izzard sees femininity as a costume he can don when he’s in the mood. Progressives back him to the hilt.
Increasingly, many of the skirmishes of the sexual revolution are being revealed for what they are—attacks by those who despise Christianity to their core. From the New York Post: “Pro-transgender activists eat pages from Bible to protest Matt Walsh appearance at University of Wisconsin.”
First Things asks: “Are Spain’s Catholic schools still Catholic?” The answer is obviously no:
The Spanish journalist and Catholic activist Jaume Vives was recently denounced on Twitter for reporting the case of a three-year-old student at a Jesuit school in Sarrià, Barcelona, who came home one day making “strange comments” about diversity and gender. The parents confronted the school and were told that the children were working on a month-and-a-half-long project on diversity, including sexual diversity. The school management added that this was a nationwide project throughout Spain for all Jesuit school students from the age of three…
Similarly, in May, nine-year-old children at a Compañía de María (Mary’s Company) school in northern Spain were scheduled to attend a play, a cultural activity organized by the city council. After seeing the play, several children returned home saying that it had bored them, and that it was about “a six-year-old girl with a penis.” The grotesque and indoctrinating show sought to normalize transsexuality in children. After parental protests, the school admitted that no one had checked what the play was about before taking the children.

From The European Conservative: Abortion clinics in Spain were charged with false advertising for denying that abortion causes side effects. In a saner world, these charges would be leveled against clinics in nearly every developed country.
The Bulwark, a site started by folks claiming to be conservative in the wake of the Trump phenomenon, has gone full clown-world and now backs puberty blockers for kids. I understand opposition to Trump, now more than ever. But why do so many of these allegedly principled Never Trumpers have to sell the farm on everything, proving that their principles really weren’t worth much to begin with?
