Bill C-218, the “Right to Recover” Act, was debated in the House of Commons last Friday. MPs Tamara Jansen and Andrew Lawton made brilliant speeches; Lawton shared the stories of Canadians from across the country who desperately want Parliament to stop euthanasia for mental illness:

    As horrible has this bill is, making murder legal, it’s small potatoes to the millions murdered before they get a chance to exit the womb! Do you know we have no abortion law in Canada and not one member of parliament, people of faith or otherwise would risk their careers to bring it to the table. So we just pretend it’s not there. Without a law no law is broken so a pregnant woman can go full term and leave her child to die on the table, that’s her choice and no one can do anything about it.
