Elizabeth Warren is the sort of presidential candidate who panders so hard she inadvertently earns the contempt of those she is attempting to woo. Some of you might remember that train-wreck LGBT townhall last fall, where Democrats promised to hand over the United States of America to the LGBT movement in exchange for the Oval Office. At one point, Warren cheered a nine-year-old transgender child, telling the child that she couldn’t wait to fire Betsy DeVos and that “I want to make sure that the person I think is the right secretary of education meets you and hears your story, and then I want you to tell me if you think that’s the right person and then we’ll make the deal.”
As it turns out, she wasn’t kidding. Warren has been racing around Iowa attempting to drum up support for her flagging presidential campaign, and at a town hall in Cedar Rapids, some asked her what she would do to make “education inclusive to all backgrounds.” Warren flung herself at the question with gusto:
I love this question. And the answer is: We need a Secretary of Education who believes in public education. In fact, I have two qualifications that I talk about over and over for my Secretary of Education. The first: It has to be someone who’s taught in a public school, hello? And part 2, because it came from a young trans person who asked about a welcoming community and I said it starts with a Secretary of Education who has a lot to do with where we spend our money, with what gets advanced in our public schools, with what the standards are, and I said, “I’m going to have a Secretary of Education that this young trans person interviews on my behalf, and only if this person believes that our Secretary or Secretary of Education nominee is absolutely committed to creating a welcoming environment, a safe environment, and a full educational curriculum for everyone will that person actually be advanced to be Secretary of Education.
So there it is: Elizabeth Warren, a formerly top-tier candidate for the Democratic nomination, is firmly committed to having her hypothetical Secretary of Education vetted by a transgender child. It is this sort of thing that is driving run-of-the-mill liberals who haven’t completely lost their minds around the bend. A previous Warren initiative, in which she announced that the taxpayers will fund sex changes for prison inmates, caused a minor Bill Maher meltdown on late-night TV. Why, he wondered, would she campaign on this when there are only 473 transgender inmates and “they can’t even vote”? Is it, he wondered, because “it makes a great campaign slogan? Commit a crime, get a free d***! Commit a crime and your new vagina is free!”
It would be a lot funnier if there wasn’t so much truth to it.
How low can you go, Warren? And it’s not going to help. Goodbye.
