Some of you may remember Michael Hari, the hairy, grey-bearded fellow who was found guilty in 2020 on a battery of criminal charges related to the 2017 bombing of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Minnesota. Although nobody was injured in the mosque bombing, Hari is facing decades in prison for his act of domestic terrorism—prosecutors are calling for a life sentence.
Michael Hari’s defence attorney Shannon Elkins, however, has a trick up her sleeve. Hari, she says, is not a racist or white nationalist, but merely a misunderstood “pacifist.” Further to that, she now claims that Michael Hari is actually Emily Claire Hari, and that Hari’s transgender status should include the judge to mercy. According to The Hill—which ridiculously grants Michael female pronouns in their story:
Hari, 50, says she was influenced by gender dysphoria and right-wing misinformation at the time of the bombing in Bloomington, the Star Tribune reported on Tuesday.
“She strongly desired making a full transition but knew she would be ostracized from everyone and everything she knew,” Shannon Elkins, Hari’s attorney, said in court documents.
“Thus, as she formed a ragtag group of freedom fighters or militia men and spoke of missions to Cuba and Venezuela, Ms. Hari secretly looked up ‘sex change,’ ‘transgender surgery,’ and ‘post-op transgender’ on the Internet. As she purchased military fatigues for their ‘missions’ she also purchased dresses and female clothing for a planned trip to Bangkok, Thailand, for male-to-female surgery. She was living a double life,” Elkins added.
What a joke. From racist bomber to gender-afflicted trans martyr—and all it took was some paperwork. Regardless of whether the judge buys this sob story, Michael is sure to be sent to a female prison—and he won’t even have to get rid of his beard, since females now also have beards because it is 2021 and everything is stupid. The Emperor has no clothes, and we can all see what’s between his legs.
But the media, which is supposed to report reality, can’t see that Michael is Michael and not Emily. The bearded terrorist said that he’s a girl, and they all nodded solemnly and changed their copy. Mercury News called him a she; so did U.S. News and World Report; Shore News went even further, stating in their headline that “Trans Militia Leader’s Mosque Bombing Provoked By Gender Dysphoria, Lawyer Says.” Well, now it all makes sense, doesn’t it! Michael was trying so hard to be a dude he blew something up, but now realizes he just should have embraced the feminine pacifist he is, your Honor.
